Mixed reality games on Quest

In mixed reality you keep seeing your surroundings through the headset cameras, and the game is placed on top of them: a football pitch on the living-room table, a ping pong table in the middle of your bedroom.

These games use the augmented reality mode of WebXR in the Meta Quest browser. They work best on Quest 3 and Quest 3S, which have colour passthrough. Clear some space around you and keep the room well lit.

The list is still short because mixed reality on the web is fairly new. It will grow as new games are published.

Frequently asked questions

What is a mixed reality game?

A game that blends virtual objects with your real surroundings, seen through the headset cameras. You play in your own room instead of being taken to another world.

Which headsets are supported?

The games are built and tested for Meta Quest 3 and 3S. Quest 2 has black-and-white passthrough and may not support every feature.

How much space do I need?

It depends on the game. Tabletop games just need a clear table; room-scale ones need about 2 x 2 metres free of obstacles. Each game page has the details.

Do I have to install anything?

No. Open the game in the Quest browser, press Play and accept the mixed reality permission when it appears.
