Where to publish WebXR and VR games for the web

WebXR games have an odd problem: they run on any headset with a browser, yet few portals know how to show them. Many drop the game into an iframe without VR permission, and the enter-VR button simply does nothing.

Here the game iframe allows WebXR (xr-spatial-tracking), fullscreen and gamepad, and the page tells players when a game is VR or mixed reality. The portal started with VR games, so the people who arrive already use Meta Quest.

No store, no APK and no app approval: upload your web build, test it in the preview and send it for review.

Revenue share at a glance

  • Up to 50% of the net ad revenue received each month goes into a developer pool.
  • Games qualify with at least 1,000 plays in the month, an average session of 3 min or more and next-day return of 10% or more.
  • The pool is split by qualified minutes played. Paid via PayPal, minimum US$ 50.

Frequently asked questions

Does the portal accept mixed reality WebXR games (immersive-ar)?

Yes. Tick the mixed reality option when submitting and the game gets the matching badge. Test on Quest 3 or 3S before sending it.

Which engines work for WebXR?

Three.js, Babylon.js, PlayCanvas, A-Frame, Unity WebGL with a WebXR package and Godot with web export. What matters is that the final build runs in the Quest browser.

Do I need to pay or have a Meta developer account?

No. Publishing here is free and separate from the Meta store. All you need is a Publica Games account.

Do VR games join the revenue share too?

Under the same rules as every other game: the criteria for plays, average session and return apply equally.
